Post-conference bulletin from the
Australian Clearinghouse for Youth Studies
Thank you to all participants at the
National Youth Affairs Conference who provided Anne and Kate with so
much positive feedback regarding the work of ACYS. We were delighted
that so many people value our service; however, we were saddened to
find that many people didn't realise that we provide a wide range of
products for the youth field. Howard Sercombe described ACYS as 'a
Tardis' - essential for the youth field - and, perhaps, like the
Wikipedia definition, '... The interior of [our] Tardis is much larger
than its exterior, which can blend in with its surroundings through
the ship's chameleon circuit ...' Anyhow, we think it's about time
we invited you in to look around
WHO WE ARE?
We are six, mostly part-time, employees
who comprise the ACYS project, which is partially funded by the
Australian Government. We supplement the shortfall in our income with
contract publishing, editing, graphic design and
typesetting.
