Hi
there
I am a producer with 60
Minutes and am researching a story on the huge rise in STDs in young people
- in particular Chlamydia.
My story will be
investigating why this rise is taking place, its implications in terms of
fertility, and also how Australian scientists are now focusing on developing the
world's first vaccine.
Clearly in order to tell
this story we need to find people affected by chlamydia - who are brave enough
to appear on TV. A big ask I realise but people never cease to amaze me by what
they are prepared to say on camera.
If anyone can help in
anyway or suggest any clinics/health workers worth approaching, I would be very
appreciative.
This is a clearly a big
story and one which sadly a lot of young people are still unaware
of.
Kind
regards
Julia
