Vibewire presents
a conference on ideas,
techniques and technologies for building community
dialogue.
Voting
and tuning in to the 6 o’clock news are not enough to keep our democracy
healthy. We need to talk to each other too.
NewConnections
brings together some of the brightest thinkers across media, virtual reality,
social networking, citizen journalism and advocacy in an intensive one‑day
conference. Through keynote addresses, an international plenary and workshops it
will explore ways to build dialogue on the issues our diverse global and local
communities care about.
