Comedy Classics
for Comic Relief
Please support Comedy Classics for Comic
Relief, which will be screened on the Seven Network on Saturday 8
December @ 8.30pm. This special edition features classic comedy
segments mixed with music, challenges, entertainment and moving cause
documentaries designed to encourage the public to pick up the phone or go online
to donate money.
Funds raised will be used to provide desperately needed assistance for
organisations and charitable groups working hard for socially and economically
disadvantaged people here in Australia and in other parts of the world.
Funds raised are distributed in Australia by Volunteering Australia and
overseas, predominantly in the Asia-Pacific region, through Oxfam. Applications for
the next Comic Relief Australia Grants Program are expected to open early
2008.
Comic Relief Australia's 'Golden Dollar Promise' ensures that every cent of
every dollar donated by the public goes towards the relief of poverty, and
social or economic injustice in Australia or overseas. For more
