Hepatitis C is one of the most challenging public
health concerns in NSW. Over the last decade it has been the most commonly
notified infectious disease both in NSW and in Australia. This Strategy
provides a statewide strategic framework for the prevention and management of
hepatitis C.
Its goals are to:

Minimise the transmission of hepatitis C
*
Improve the health status of people with hepatitis C
*
Minimise the negative personal, social and economic impact of hepatitis
C.
