My name is Kylie Agnew and I am the Manager of New Directions, which is a new
follow up program that Operation Flinders Foundation will now be able offer to
agencies/ schools post exercise.
If you are not familiar with Operation Flinders, we are a South Australian
based Foundation that runs a program for young offenders and youth at risk. The
program takes young people between the age of 14 and 18 years on an 8-day
exercise in the far northern Flinders Ranges. Please check out our website
www.operationflinders.org for more information.
The Operation Flinders Foundation will be hosting a New Directions seminar in
week 7, Tuesday, March 11th 2008. This is the day after the Adelaide Cup long
weekend so we hope this helps to make transport arrangements easier if you are
in
a rural area. It will be a full day seminar located at the DECS Hindmarsh
Training facility near the Entertainment Centre in Adelaide.
This seminar is aimed at people from across the state of south Australia with
an interest in recent developments in our programs for youth at risk.
If you wish to get more information about this seminar day or register to
attend please contact kagnew@operationflinders.org Alternatively, you can
contact
me on (08) 8242 3255 if you would like more information about Operation Flinders
or our new follow up program.
