Just a quick adminy note about the promoting of youth
focused events on this list.
Due to the broad nature of this list and much as YouthGAS
would love to be all things to all people, we aim to be a general awareness and
promotion service rather than a comprehensive database of youth events.
This means that YouthGAS is unable to promote locally /
regionally focused youth events. If this material was posted to the list, it
would become overwhelmed (more) and subscriber numbers would plummet.
There are some exceptions, the main two being:
* if a state / territory / national based organisation is
running a broad youth happening that happened to take place in a particular
area.
* if a local / regional organisation is running a youth event
that was open to anyone in the state / nation. I tend to find that this is
pretty uncommon, as most local / regional organisations run local / regional youth
events (strangely enough).
In regards to Youth Week – If you have a state /
territory based promotion, that is fine to post, but (the majority) of all Youth
Week event material should be promoted through your specific Youth Week
organisers.
We now return you to your regular email list…
