Telephone:08 8334 0225   Hi all I'm a Youth Development Officer who currently works with a group of 22 young people who are members of Council's Youth Advisory Committee.   I was wondering if any of you had time to email me your thoughts and experiences (or even any documents) on alternative models for youth participation in a local government setting. Documents such as the terms of reference for similar groups or information on the structure of any youth committees would be really helpful. Our YAC are keen to reshape their current format and I'd like to provide them with some diverse examples of other ways to include young people in Council's decision making processes and project/event development. Any info, handy contacts or even just web links would be really appreciated.
