Hello Youth Gasers,
The Funky Youth Assist Choir has received an awesome opportunity. Top
Australian band
Grinspoon have invited the Funky Youth Choir to sing with them before a
sellout
crowd at
Homebake in Sydney's domain on Saturday 4 Dec 04 at 8.15 pm - just
before Jet.
The choir rehearsed with Grinspoon in Sydney today and were stoked when
Grinspoon's lead
singer Phil, whose idea it was for the choir to sing with the band,
said the choir sounded
amazing.
With phone cameras working overtime dring the rehearsal, all the youth
in the choir were so
excited to be part of this event with their idol band Grinspoon.
Grinspoon will be kindly donating a $4,000 performance fee to Youth
Assist towards its research
and development of high impact youth programs, and the choir members
have
donated their time
and voices towards this event as a fundraiser.
Youth Assist wishes to thank Grinspoon, their management Step 2

St Andrews Cathedral School in Sydney and music teacher Chris Belshaw,
Artec
Digital's Pal
Sheldon for wonderful choir arrangements, and ALL the youth singers
involved in the
Funky
Youth Assist choir for making this all possible.
