True-l International Songwriting Contest Conditions of entry

1. Closing Date – All entries are to be postmarked no later than the
closing date of 31st of August, 2005. True-L reserves the right to
change this date due to unforeseen circumstances
3. Judging - Songs are judged
equally on originality, lyrics, melody and composition. Songs may be in any
language. Quality of performance and production will not be considered. Prizes
will be awarded jointly to all authors of any song. Division of prizes is
responsibility of winners. The winners release sponsors from all liability
regarding prizes won. Entry is open to all amateur and professional artists
internationally
4. CO-Writers- Please make sure all co-writers are included in the entry form. It is
the responsibility of the entrant to divide prizes fairly.
5. Original- All songs must be original. The entrant implies that they have full
ownership of the material. ASC can not be held responsible for omissions or
inaccuracies
6. Compilation CD’s- The entrant agrees that their song’s may be
included in compilations for promotional purposes, if the compilation sells
more than 500 copies the entrant will receive mechanical royalties on all
CD’s sold.
7. Missing entries – TISC will take no responsibility for missing
entries
8. Format - Each entry must include:
(A) Completed entry form (or photocopy).
All signatures must be original.
(B) CD or Audio Cassette(s) containing
1 song only per entry, 5 minutes or less in length. Lyrics Only category do not
require audio cassette or CD.
(C) 3 copies of lyric sheets. Lyrics
are not required for instrumental category obviously.
(D) Cheque or
money order for $35 / $20 if paying by credit card, $35 / $20 will be charged
to your account. All entries must be postmarked by Aug 31st, 2005 or
earlier. Entries will not be returned.
9. Winners - Will be
notified by mail and must sign and return an affidavit confirming that winner's
song is original and he/she holds rights to the song. Failure to sign and
return the form within 30 days will result in immediate disqualification and an
alternative winner will be selected. Entry constitutes permission to use
winner’s names, likeness and voices for future publicity and advertising
purposes without additional compensation. Winners will be determined by
November 30th, 2005. After which each entrant will receive a winners list by
e-mail.
10. Number of entries – There is
no limit to the number of entries that may be submitted, every song must be on
a separate CD or tape and have separate lyric sheets if applicable
11. Prizes: 1st Place - Will Receive 1 year Exclusive
Membership to hipopportunity including recording
time, valued at over $1000 as well as media exposure. And will be placed on the
All Star Compilation CD released September 2005. Plus 8 hours
FULL recording at Basic sound studios. You will also get free entry to
351 music conference 2006. You will have possible opportunities to perform on
tours and high profiled events through Phrisk
Management.
2nd Place- Will receive 1 year Gold membership of hip
opportunity including recording time and free registration of 351 Camp.
Winners of each category - Will receive 1
year Silver membership if hipopportnity including
management and exposure to high profile events. For more
