Richard you need to plug into the Youth Affairs Research Network: YARN
email discussion list which carries info on youth studies: there you
will find the regular mailings of the Australian Youth Research Centre,
who work with for instance the Centre for Adolescenct Health at the
Univ. of Melbourne to provide exactly the kind of courses you want. e.g.
Master of Youth Health and Education Management (MYHEM) program.
Person to speak to about their masters courses see below: news of this
nature is also always carried in our newsletter here at the Aus.
Clearinghouse for Youth Studies, Youth Field Xpress, e.g. Jan. issue had

YOUTH STUDIES
Cross-sectoral degree course
An information evening for those curious about the Master of Youth
Health and Education Management course is being held on Thursday 3
February 2005 at 6 - 7.30 p.m. at the University of Melbourne's Sidney
Myer Asia Centre (enter via Swanston Street). Recognising the link
between health, education, youth and community work, the Master of Youth
Health and Education Management (MYHEM) program has been developed
specifically for professionals who are concerned with young people in
our communities and who share a desire for these sectors to work
collaboratively. The course is coordinated by the University of
Melbourne's Faculty of Education and the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry
and Health Sciences. To register your attendance, see:

Workshops on young people at risk, and on sexuality
Once again, the University of Melbourne and the Centre for Adolescent
Health will be holding a series of workshops open to workers and
researchers on subjects pertinent to youth issues. Organised by the
University of Melbourne and the Centre for Adolescent Health, these
workshops in Melbourne form part of the Graduate Diploma in Adolescent
Health and Welfare:
* Adolescent sexuality and sexual health: this four-day workshop will be
held on 15-18 March 2005;
* Young People at Risk; this four-day workshop is to be held on 21-24 March.
Workshop attendees can participate in the workshops in a variety of ways
and can even have their attendance credited as a university subject (if
applicable).

There are I think quite a few YARN people on this list too, so you have
probably been told all this by now, but I thought it worth posting this
back to the whole list as others may have the same question(s)
