I'm kinda getting a general vibe,
that bringing the email list back in it's previous format (ie. you
posting your info to the list) might kinda need to happen again. Even though I
did say, I wouldn't bring the service back until I was getting some funding from
it; but hey.
While I do have a paying service coming up at some
stage, I think the return of the email list might be the best thing to tide you
over in the intermediate months.
I am willing to put the email list back online, if
I can get a group of moderators together to do the day-to-day message approval
stuff.
The job description is basically: you will get
sent messages, that people send to the list and you scan over them and in most
cases, just reply to the email to get the message be sent out to the
list.
It's basically that easy. I will prepare you some
slightly more thorough notes and will guide / mentor you through it
all. I'm looking for a few people who
are:
- someone who has the time (AND WILL ENJOY!)
scanning over a few extra emails each day. DO NOT APPLY IF THIS
IS ALREADY A CHORE FOR YOU.
- preferably at a computer a reasonable
amount of time;
- not directly connected to an organisation
that does anything too similar workwise;
- possibly someone I have met at some point and/or
who I have had more than one email "work" discussion with;
- passionate, but open about all sorts of youth
things;
- someone who is trustworthy, respectful,
professional, confidential;
- an all round nice kinda person.
