18-30 YEAR OLDS CAN APPLY TO CRUISE WORLD
ON SHIP FOR WORLD YOUTH (SWY 18)
10 January 2006 - 2 March 2006

The Australian Government is calling for applications to join the Ship
for
World Youth (SWY 18), a unique international cultural exchange program
organised by the Government of Japan. Eleven young Australians aged 18
to
30 years old will have the opportunity to join youth from across the
world
on board the Nippon Maru cruise liner. Activities include Japanese
home-stays, Tokyo tours and meetings; as well as seaports in Singapore,
India, Kenya and Mauritius. Youth from all over Australia are encouraged
to
apply including young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians,
young people from Culturally and Linguistically Diverse backgrounds and
youth from Rural Australia.

Your assistance in encouraging young people to apply would be greatly
appreciated. Kindly forward the enclosed SWY 18 to your networks. For
more

APPLICATIONS CLOSE 19 AUGUST 2005. Only hardcopy applications will be
