As part of Mental Health Week celebrations, the Child and Youth Mental Health Service,
Royal Children’s Hospital and Health Service District, will host a Community Forum. The forum will focus
on young people and depression and will feature guest speakers including
Professor Graham Martin (child and adolescent psychiatrist), a young person who
has experienced depression and a carer who has looked after a young person with
depression. The forum will also feature numerous displays from local service
providers. The forum will be held at the Kedron-Wavell Services Club (375 Hamilton Road, Chermside) on 13 October
2005, 6:30pm-9:00pm, with plenty of parking available on site. Refreshments
will be provided and no RSVP is necessary – just show up on the night!
